9th Annual Toy Convention

June 19-20 for the 9th Toycon at SM Megamall. There’ll be two venues for this huge event (Yes! one at the megatrade and the other one will be at the atrium). Panelists, the Organizers of Toycon invited everybody to witness this huge gathering of all DC comics enthusiasts. Merchandises like shirts, bags, school supplies for kids will be also available at your leading mall.

This year marks the 75th anniversary of DC comics !

DC Comics 75th Anniversary will be the main theme of this year’s Philippine Toy Convention to be held on June 19 and 20 at the SM Mega Trade Halls 2 and 3. Everyone is invited to come in a superhero or comic book character costume. This year, Collectibles Unlimited Assoc. will attempt to gather the most number of people in superhero costumes in one location.

This year’s Toy Convention will include DC Comics- themed competitions and activities. DC Comics is inviting Filipino comics artists who have rendered work for DC Comics to autograph your DC Comics collectibles in the Toy Convention and Toy Kingdom, SM Megamall There will also be a special auction of limited edition DC Comics Encyclopedias to participants who purchase DC Comics licensed products from the DC Comics booth in the Toy Convention.

3rd National Discus Competition

Last May 27, 2010 – I personally went to SM San Lazaro in Santa Cruz, Manila where the author saw various kinds of tropical aquarium fishes and tropical discus.

Part of the objectives of the PDS’ PETFish is to elevate the level of fishkeeping in the country to a more responsible and science-based hobby, the seminars will be well-researched and based on the practical experiences of experts/speakers. it will be fun while learning something new everyday. the seminars are a series of lectures really. so that one shouldn’t miss out on any although attending just one will already ensure that more knowledge is gained.

There are also some international discus fish and tropical fishes judges who were invited during the event. Dr. Sun See Seng of Singapore Discus Club and Mr. Na Chun Yong of Discus Society of Malaysia.

3rd Pinoy Organic Fair at the Quezon Memorial Circle

I was invited last May 26 to the 3rd Pinoy Organic Fair organized by the Agri-Aqua Network Incorporated at the Quezon Memorial Circle . This year’s theme ” Celebrating the Philippine Organic Agriculture Law” aims to promote and the signing of President Gloria Macapagal -Arroyo the organic law.

Every year the festival sees the growth not only of the Organic Groups in the country joining the Festival but also the growth and access of the Organic Movement per se and the Organic Farming to more and more interest groups and the public.

There were about 50 exhibitors which were invited to the event with product sampling, organic certified produce, daily free lectures and seminars was conducted.

Scientifically called Moringa oelifera , “Sajina” in the Indian Subcontinent, and “Moringa” in English, it is a popular tree. Many Asians use the leaves of Malunggay (Sajina) like spinach and also the fruit it produces as a vegetable, like asparagus. Both the leaves and the fruits are very nutritious, which contain many vitamins like Vitamin C and other minerals. For centuries, people in India, Indonesia , Philippines, Malaysia,   Thailand  and Vietnam have been eating these leaves as a part of their food.

Aside from the traditional fresh leaves or vegetables, powder or supplement form, tea. Some product where malunggay leaves is included are bread, oil (for cooking and cosmetic ingredients), shampoo ,  conditioner, ice cream, malunggay capsules, noodles enhanced with malunggay powder and among others.

The company won numerous award internationally. Good for the environment because it’s biodegradable. Good for those with sensitive skin and for people whose skin reacts badly to harsh chemicals. Gentle enough for use with baby clothes. Tough enough to really take out dirt. You use less powder to wash the same amount of clothes.

3rd Organic Festival

Through the years, the Organic Festival organized by the Agri-Aqua Network International (AANI) had been a continuous reinforcement that promotes Organic Practices. Every year the festival sees the growth not only of the Organic Groups in the country joining the Festival but also the growth and access of the Organic Movement per se and the Organic Farming to more and more interest groups and the public.

The signing into law of the Organic Bill by PGMA is a monumental feat for the Organic Industry and what better way to celebrate this is by gathering this May 28-30 for the 3rd Organic Festival with the theme “Celebrating the Philippine Organic Agriculture Law”. The event will also highlight further partnerships between the Government like the Department of Agriculture (DA) and People’s Organizations like the One Organic Movement advocating Organic Farming Programs.

In this regard, may we invite you to ATTEND the 3rd Pinoy Organic Festival on May 28-30, 2010 at the AANI HERBAL GARDEN and LIVELIHOOD CENTER , QUEZON MEMORIAL CIRCLE , QUEZON CITY .
