Caritas Manila : Buy and Share Expo 2013 at Trinoma Mall

BUY and Share EXPO 2013

Caritas Manila will be holding its anniversary expo this coming November 29 to December 1, 2013 at the Activity Center of Ayala’s- Trinoma Mall in Quezon City. This event aims to raise funds to help sustain the pro-poor programs of Caritas Manila. This season will be perfect time to buy unique products for Christmas giveaways and company parties.

With the theme, “Celebrating 60 Years of Living Faith in its Social Mission”, this year’s anniversary exposition is showcasing products made by social entrepreneurs via Caritas Manila’s own social enterprises—Caritas Margins and Segunda Mana.

There will be about 50 social enterprise booths during the exposition . Aside from the social enterprise booths , there will be a fashion show, daily livelihood seminars, a cooking demonstration during the 3-day event.

Among the celebrity endorser of the event is basketball , entrepreneur , model and television host Mr. Chris Tiu .

For every item you purchase , one community of a less privilege sector earns. You give hope to Caritas Margins while saving lives every day by ensuring their job and income generation activities. Low-income families will be able to break cycles that keep them from healthy meals on the table daily.

Environmentally safe products like home care items, dish washing liquids, detergents, hand liquid soaps, recycled items made from water hyacinths , straws, soft drinks bottles, tetra packs and among others.

Part of the Sales will help sustain Caritas Manila’s pro-poor programs, specifically on Skills and Livelihood Training, Youth Servant Leadership and Education Programs, Scholarship projects , Inmates , in helping people acquire skills and training is necessary to feed their families. You help empower them towards self-sufficiency.

Buying a product for oneself or for someone else to appreciate is fostering goodwill. Either way will serve you best.

Caritas Manila is also looking for volunteers and organizations which can partner with them in their causes.
