The usual design of the paper -based stamp has evolve into many shapes , sizes and forms. Stamps are also being made out of other materials such as with gold / silver leaf and new designs like glow in the dark , 3D or hologram.
The so called personalized stamp series is different from the previous stamp issued by the Philippine Postal Corporation on 2005.

These first-ever personalized sheets were printed when Philpost agreed to let Pinoy Stamps, Inc. offer personalized stamp sheets during the 23rd SEAGAMES. Aside from being the first personalized stamps , the stamp is also considered as commemorative items and was issued on November 27, 2005.
The 3,000 sets of two sheets with blank labels were sold to Pinoy Stamps Incorporated , P90 plus 10% value-added-tax (VAT). The higher price was partly due to the need to print the sheets on specially-cut A-4 sized security paper in order to allow their machines to print images on the blank labels.
Pinoy Stamps, Inc. sells the personalized sheets by printing photos, either from on site shooting during the duration of the games, or from submitted photos. The processing and sale of these personalized sheets are allowed until all stocks are sold out. The personalized sheets are placed inside a plastic-covered cardboard with sleeve that has “I was at the Games” and the SEAGAMES logo printed. These were sold at P350 per package.
To allow collectors who want to include these sheets that contain many new stamps but do not want personalized labels in their collections, “generic” sheets with officially printed labels are also offered by the Philatelic Service. On each sheet, a single Philippine flag is printed on the left column. On the right, each of the 5 labels features the flags of 2 participating countries.

Pinoy Mall is another project of the Philippine Postal Corporation which enables stamp collectors ,different Philippine products such as dried mangoes, textiles, handicrafts , delicacies, mugs, embroideries on-line.
OTOP exhibit ( One Town One Product ) by the Department of Trade and Industry
It is about time that the corporation must upgrade their variety of services. In other ASEAN countries, their postal company sells a lot of local produce which enables to help their local economy and a potential revenue earner for the government.

The program started at past 10:00am , The event is more orderly compared to other previous events that Philpost had organized. There was a short dance number by Pinoy All Stars.

Mobile application is a feature of PHLpost’s e-door to door delivery service . This end-to-end solution will be utilized to serve the requirements of DSWD beneficiaries under the Social Pension for Indigent Senior Citizen Program ( SPISCP) .
After the program , The personalized stamp was unveiled by postmaster general Maria Josefina Dela Cruz and key post office officials. The PHLpost is keen to partner with the Department of Tourism in order to promote tourist destination spots like Boracay, Palawan, Ilocos Norte, Cebu, Bohol , Davao in which tourist can take souvenir shots can send them via postcards or letters to their love ones living abroad.
Note: While personalized stamps is rather ” NEW” in the Philippines . A lot of countries had been selling personalized stamps for the past several decades. A revenue generating potential if properly distributed on popular tourist destination areas . Hope that will continue with the support of DOT and even private sector.
