This orchid landscape exhibit showcased a lot of cattleya hybrids from the farm of Dr. Hernando B. Perez of Batangas .

Aside from hybrids , He had several cattleya species imported from Central and South America. Atty. Hernando Perez also have some Dendrobium species from neighboring Southeast Asian countries like Thailand , Vietnam and Malaysia

Ms. Delia Pionela

Ms. Delia Pionela is an example of a plant entrepreneur from Quezon province. She started joining orchid and other plant shows as a part-time plant trader  for many years . In 2008, she opened a store at the defunct Manila Seedling Bank Foundation  ( since the closure 2013) .  She had relocated to the  Quezon Memorial Circle garden center facing PhilCOA side.

Farmlife Ornamental Enterprises

Farmlife Ornamental Enterprises exhibit was executed by Mr. Rommel Canas , He graduated from the Rizal Technological University System and had been working for Puentespina Orchid and Ornamental Plants .

He started to landscape corporate and pocket gardens several years ago .  Now he started his own plant and landscaping business .

Bonsai exhibit

The bonsai exhibit is from the personal collection of Mr. Manuel Lee and Mrs. Susan Lee . The couple are avid bonsai collectors for many years until they became members of the Philippine Orchid Society. This ornamental landscape booth also won ” Special Award”  .

Ms. Jun Golamco ‘s  team exhibit had different pitcher plants ( nepenthes species) from the Philippines, Malaysia, Indonesia , bromeliad, ferns, tillandsias, anthuriums , native orchids and hybrids.

Miss Vangie Go is an avid plant and orchid collector who had a 1 and 1/2 hectare farm in Cavite , She grow rare and different kind of plant that are sourced from different parts of the world.  Aside from collecting, She also breeds orchids and ornamental plants.

This live floral arrangement uses different kinds of tillandsia like Tillandsia ionantha , Tillandsia capitata, Tillandsia ” Cotton Candy ” a hybrid of Tillandsia stricta x recurvifolia and Tolumnia hybrids ( dancing ladies orchid )
