Who will take home the title Ginoo and Binibining Aspin?

The organizers are inviting all owners to dress up their aspins in their most fabulous Filipiniana costume and take part in the “Ginoo at Binibining Aspin” competition at the LINGGO NG ASPIN event at the Tiendesitas Events Area on August 31, 2014.

PAWS is mounting the “Linggo ng Aspin” on August 31 (SUN) at the Tiendesitas Events Area to celebrate the unique characteristics of the Philippine native dog and to encourage people to adopt “aspins” or “asong Pinoys” from shelters & pounds.

Native & mixed breed dogs can join the fun agility race and have their portraits taken at the bahay kubo. Registration starts at 2pm. Registration fee is P350 for non-PAWS Aspin Club members and P150 for Aspin Club Members. Fee includes a shirt (for owner), a bandana (for dog) and other freebies from sponsors.

Registration starts at 3pm.

Criteria for judging are as follows:
Overall Impact 50%
Creativity 20%
Faithfulness to the Filipiniana Theme 20%
Stage Presence 10%.

NOTE : only aspins or native dogs who bear no striking resemblance to purebreed dogs may join the costume competition. PAWS representatives at the registration table will be on hand to screen all applicants.
