Miss USA 2015 pageant winners

The 2015 Miss USA pageant goes into full swing having a different partner broadcast Reelz cable television stepped in to air the contest, after broadcasters NBC and Spanish-language broadcaster Univision.

The winners were, Miss Oklahoma– Miss USA 2015 , Miss Texas ( first runner-up) , Miss Rhode Island ( 2nd runner-up ), Miss Nevada ( 3rd runner-up ) and Miss Maryland (4th runner-up)

Miss Alaska and Miss Delaware have tied in the Miss Congeniality award

The pageant co-owned by Trump is taking place Sunday evening in Baton Rouge, Louisiana for the second year in a row. Special award includes Miss Indiana won Miss Photogenic.

Among the historic highlight is Miss Delaware making it to the semi-finals for the first time and a tie between Miss Alaska and Miss Delaware in the Miss Congeniality award in the pageant’s 64 year- history. During the live telecast , Miss Kentucky won the ‪#‎SaveTheQueen votes of the audience .

Michelle McLean (Miss Universe 1992), Brook Lee (Miss Universe 1997), Kimberly Pressler (Miss USA 1999), Tara Conner (Miss USA 2006), Crystle Stewart (Miss USA 2008) Rima Fakih (Miss USA 2010), Danielle Doty (Miss Teen USA 2011), Leila Lopes (Miss Universe 2011), Nana Meriwether (Miss USA 2012).

This year’s host were Mr. Todd Newton, Alex Wehrley and Ms. Julie Alexandria

Singers Travis Garland and former American Idol finalist Stefano Langone started off the show with three songs “Born on the Bayou,” ”She’s a Bad Mama Jama” and “American Woman” as the contestants strutted onto the stage and introduced themselves and their states. Felicia Barton , Antoinette Scruggs and Adley Stump also performed during the pageant . .
