Philippine Orchid Society’s 69th Mid -Year Orchid and Garden Show Lectures

The Philippine Orchid Society will be presenting to the general public a series of daily afternoon lectures and talks starting August 28, 2015 at 2:00PM at the gazebo area. The lecture is part of the orchid show public information .

August 28 – Growing Orchids in Your Garden by Mr. Andres Golamco Jr.

August 29- Flower Arrangement for All Occasions by the Floral Designers Circle

August 30- Vandaceous Orchids by Mr. Wally Suarez

August 31- Basics in Landscaper by Mr. Jimmy Floro

September 1 – Edible Ornamental Vegetables by Mr. Ponchit Ponce Enrile

September 2 – Cactus and Succulent Propagation by Mr. Lino Rom

September 3 – Hoyas as Companion Crops for Orchids by Professor Fernando Aurigue Jr.

September 4- Importance of Good Substrate – Allied Botanical Corporation

September 5 -Growing Orchids for Fun and Profit – Ms. Vangie Go

September 6-The Exotic Species and Hybrids of the Cattleya Alliance – Atty. Hernando B. Perez

September 7- Controlling Plant Pest and Diseases by Mr. Norberto Bautista

There is a minimal entrance fees of Php 50 for the general public and Php 40 for students and senior citizens with valid ID’s .
