Winners of Poster Making Contest at The Medical City

The Medical City Nutrition Management Services together with the Center of Developmental Pediatrics have heed of this concern by launching a poster making contest entitled “ TMC for Kids: Healthy Eating Plate– A poster making contest on good nutrition , ” The contest is open to middle school Grade 5 students) This contest is also in line with the Department of Health’s ” Pinggang Pinoy ” in celebration of the National Nutrition Month 2016 .

The Medical City ( TMC) is a world -class hospital healthcare organization with 48 years of existence in hospital operation and administration . The school that participated in the poster making contest show the students’ interpretation of a healthy plate based on Department of Health’s campaign or healthy plate campaign of the US. Participating schools include Saint Paul College-Pasig , Lourdes School of Mandaluyong , La Salle Greenhills and Immaculate Concepcion Academy .

A total of 25 posters was entered into the competition , The winners received plaques, gift certificates, gift packs and umbrella from sponsors.

The winners were awarded in a simple ceremony that was held at the auditorium of The Medical City in Pasig.

Aside from poster making contest, there were mini-lecture on topics such as proper nutrition , food options and picky eating . The entries will be displayed at the lobby of the Medical City for at least two weeks and will also be uploaded on the FB page and website.
