5 Loaves & 2 Fish Restaurant was the brainchild of Ms. Dinah Grace M. Miro. She used to help her mother with cooking their food during her childhood days. Her passion is from the heart.

Her interest includes baking and cooking . She was the youngest among the sibling. During special occasions, she would serve home made specialties to her visitors and friends.

On September 2011, Her lavosh became one of the top choices at the ” Ultimate Taste Test ” among over 50 Best Food entered at the Mercato Centrale event.
She would eventually opened a stall with her specialties at CCF Tiendesitas in Pasig City. The restaurant have a sitting capacity of between 65 to 68 people at any given occasion. It is also wise to pre-book the restaurant whenever there is a family occasion and gathering.

The proprietor had two trade names in mind when they decided to register at the SEC and DTI , but they are already taken . She then prayed so that an appropriate name will be granted. She took the inspiration from the bible.

Crispy Veggie Lavosh sometimes referred to as Armenian lavash, is a soft, thin unleavened flat bread made in …. Lavash, lavosh, or lahvosh is a gigantic, paper-thin, blistery, tortilla-like flatbread common throughout Armenia, Turkey, and Iran. The bread is served with tomato and coriander salsa dip, chicken liver , pesto burlee and garlic oil with dulong fish . This appetizer is ideal for sharing between 3 to 5 people. Php 250 per serving.
The pesto is a little bit sweet and some of the side dishes are tapered to cater the Filipino palate. One can mix all the four kinds of dips and form an interesting mixture.
Balayan Salad is a combination of green lettuce, chopped fresh tomatoes with quesong puti cheese and tinapa flakes with grated parmesan cheese. ( This will be offered starting this month ) The tinapa flakes are mild and does not overpower the taste of the salad.
High 5 Salad– a healthy combination of lettuce leaves, flavorful balsamic vinegar and guava puree blend of pleasant and unique taste. with sundried tomatoes , candied nuts , diced guava , grated parmesan cheese. ( Php 285) per serving
Beef Salpicao is another must have dish, the beef tenderloin is baked and sliced into cubes. the meat is tender topped with slices of bird’s eye chilies , banana chiliesand fried chopped garlic. This comes with rice. ( Php 375 ) – ideal sharing between 2 to 3 people.
Salmon with Four Kinds of Cheese – Salmon fillet , topped with 4 kinds of cheese and topped with melted cheese on a bed of mashed potatoes. (Php 385) per serving.
Lengua with olives – The ox tongue is cooked perfectly with special sauce .
Pasta with Clam – This pasta is among the best sellers of the restaurant.
Pork Ribs Barbecue with special marinated sauce. This takes at least 4 to 6 hours to cook the pork , hence the meat is tender and tasty.
Pastries and Cakes – The restaurant had a good selection of cakes which can be ordered on per slice or whole piece.

What is nice about the products that they serve is that the company had a special tie-up with the local cooperative of San Isidro which is based from Davao. Like sourcing their cocoa powder from local producers.
The price range is between Php 145 to Php 180 per slice. They are not overly sweet compared to some well-known bakeshop. Among their best sellers are the cheesecake, chocolate cakes, pink guava cakes, matcha green tea cheesecake , dulce de leche, among others.

How to Commute:
The place is fairy accessible via all modes of transportation , there is an AUX express route from any parts of the city going to Fairview area , just try to drop off at Ever Gotesco ( Commonwealth ) and one had to cross the foot bridge going to Holy Spirit Drive going to the tricycle station bay.
There are also passenger jeep which ply SM North, Trinoma or Eaton Centris – Php 14.00
For those coming from Sauyo, Bagbag, Talipapa, Novaliches area- there are short cut route going to Holy Spirit drive which traverses several subdivisions .
