Hickory Dickory Pork -pork meat is marinated with special sauce and smoked, The meat is tender and the flavor is infused . It also comes with vegetable coleslaw . This is a highly recommended dish . ( Php 254) ideal sharing between 2 to 4 person.

Mexican thin crust pizza topped with sausage, onions, bell pepper and nachos ( Php 285) ideal for sharing between 2 to 4 persons.

ASEANPEX 2017 from November 4 to 6, 2017

The Philippine chairmanship on the 50th founding anniversary of the Association of South East Asian Nations (ASEAN), the Philippine Postal Corporation (PHLPost) will be hosting the ASEAN Invitational Philatelic Exhibit (ASEANPEx) 2017 on November 4 to 6, 2017, at the SMX Convention Center in Pasay City.

ASEANPEx is a showcase of stamps and other philatelic products from the 10 ASEAN countries featuring current issuance, as well as rare and collector’s item stamps. The last ASEANPEx held in the country was in 1996 at the SM Mega Trade Hall in Mandaluyong.

This year’s 3 day exhibit will be carrying the theme ‘Exploring the beauty and diversity of ASEAN culture and tradition”

ASEANPEX2017 will showcase a 200-frame display of rare and winning stamp collections from member countries; lectures on philately; and, interactive booths.

According to the local organizing committee, there will be no entrance fees.

 

There will also a commemorative stamps to be issued to highlight the event

The Philippine stamps has featured the Sampaguita (Jasminum sambac), the country’s National flower in the joint commemorative issue.

This strategic collaboration of the member countries postal administration was evident in the ASEAN POST logo displayed on each country’s commemorative stamps which symbolizes peace, friendship and solidarity in the ASEAN community

All stamps shall be released for sale, distribution and exchange by ASEAN member countries. The release of the stamps coincides with the Philippines chairmanship of the ASEAN this year.

PHLPost has printed 80,000 copies of the ASEAN 50th Anniversary stamp featuring the national flower Sampaguita to be sold at P12 each.

Philippine Horticultural Society Inc. in partnership with Quezon City government, Quezon Memorial Circle administration will be having a 4 day show with the focus on cacti, succulents and ornamental from October 12 to 15, 2017 .

The site will be at the Flower Garden of Hardin ng mga Bulaklak area facing East Avenue .

EATSILOG : A Neighborhood Eatery

EATSILOG specializes on SILOG, Ihaw and Sizzlers – This neighborhood eatery had a sitting capacity of between 12 to 15 people. This is fairly accessible to tricycle and is near Lianas Supermarket and just few meters from Louella Bakery

EATSILOG had just opened about a week ago within A. Canaynay Avenue, San Dionisio, Sucat, Parañaque City. All the recipes are from Chef Oen Francisco and his partners Ms. Lexie Go and Mr. Dennis Pangilinan.
