Highlights of the 1st Coca Cola Collectors Fair 2018

Coca-Cola Collectors Club of the Philippines in close partnership with Coca-Cola Philippines had conducted a highly successful 1 day collectors fair at the Fisher Mall in Quezon City.

The opening program started at around past 10:00 am with a short program, group photo of the special guest of honors which included former Senator Ana Dominique Coseteng ( also a coke collector), Miss Jonah De Lumen – Pernia Dir. Public Affairs and Communications Coca-Cola Philippines, Miss Rosbel Q. Bunag of Stratworks PR agency and representatives of Fisher Mall.

There are about 50 to 60 table exhibitors at the fair. Coke collectors from different parts of Metro Manila, Bulacan, Nueva Ecija, Quezon, Laguna, Tarlac, Pampanga and Batangas provinces were all out with their support for this fair.

Mr. Jacque M. Ruby country head of A+E Network ( HistoryconPH organizer) and some local celebrities also attended the fair later in the afternoon.

Mr. George Bonsay also had a shop located at Greenhills Shopping Center. I would buy banknotes, coins, postcards and coke advertisement cards at his store.

Mr. Franco Giorgetii ( A Swiss national) started his hobby on photography in 1986 and had been collecting coke memorabila and limited collectible items for more than 22 years.

Ms. Macel Pascual

Ms. Macel Pascual is a coke collector for several years. She had a lot of unique items exhibited during the fair. This includes coke bags, kitchen utensils, coke bottles and advertisement posters.

Mrs. Adelina Almirol

Mrs. Adelina Almirol is a coke collector from Marikina. She collects thematic items such Christmas coke village, bottles, flip-flops, miniature coke vending machine and had a cute coke sari-sari store. The miniature coke sari-sari store was created thru the help of Mr. Geraldo Reyes.

She was also featured several years ago, when she hosted a swap meet of Pinoy Coke Fanatic   last March 1, 2014. She also gave me an interesting form of Dendrobium aphyllum ( aka fairy sanggumay ).

Coca-Cola Collector’s Club -China Chapter

Coca-Cola Collectors Club – China had one of the most number of coke collectors not only in Asia but also in the world. Among the collectible items included 2008 Olympic bottles and cans.

International Delegates

Other delegates includes Malaysia, Thailand, Turkey, Singapore, Hongkong, Taiwan, Macau, Japan and China.

The general public expects a bigger crowd and more exhibitors at the next coca-cola collectors club fair.
