Palabunutan ( pick a prize game) This use to be common in almost every street corner in Metro Manila. Most of the items up for grabs are colorful plastic toys, junk foods, coins, stickers or cards. These type of game are sometimes not allowed within a certain distance from schools. Some unscrupulous vendor solicit some form of gambling among the children. They use to cost a peso several years ago. This one cost Php 5.00 for every pick (bunot)- a number correspond to a prize. In this case, coins or bills.
