Grow and Show Monthly Bazaar from October 19 to 21, 2018

Philippine Horticultural Society in partnership with Department of Environment and Natural Resources, Biodiversity Management Bureau and Manila Bulletin presents to the general public the monthly bazaar and trade show from October 19 to 21, 2018 at the main gate and visitor’s area of the Ninoy Aquino Park and Wildlife and Rescue Center in Quezon City.

This month’s bazaar will showcase different kinds of edible figs, adeniums, orchids, tillandsia, bromeliads, cacti, succulents, flowering trees, herbs, hanging plants among others from about 60 stall holders.

Grow and Show Lecture Series

October 20, Saturday, 10:00 AM Creating Succulent Dish Gardens by Wilson Angel An On the Spot Dish Garden Competition will be held after the lecture.

Oct. 20 Saturday 2:00 PM Growing Orchid by Pres. Remy Rodis-Santelices of Paradise Orchids 1. Laboratory Production; 2. Farm Production and 3. Marketing

October 21, Sunday 10:00 AM Breeding Aloes by PHSI Sec Boyet Ganigan

Tillandsia Competition open for all: 1. Bulbous Species 2. Bulbous Hybrids 3. ArteCulture: Tilly frames.

The bazaar will start from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm

There are two entrances, one is at Quezon Avenue and another one is at North Avenue entrance.

Note: Entrance fees at the Ninoy Aquino Parks and Wildlife is Php 15 for students and senior citizens with valid Id’s, Php 30 general public .
