Imaging Womanhood in Stamp Featured at Selyong Pamana Exhibit

Philippine Postal Corporation or (PHLPost) formally opens the Heritage Stamp Exhibit entitled ‘Mga Selyong Pamana, Imaging and Imagining Womanhood in Stamps’ at the Manila Central Post Office Lobby in Liwasang Bonifacio, Ermita in Manila on May 9, 2019.

The event started around past 3:00 pm when special guest of honor, Akademiang Pilpino Chairperson and former Ombudsman Conchita Carpio Morales delivers her keynote message, with PHLPost Chairman Norman Fulgencio and National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA) Chairman Virgilio Almario conveying their message of support in the program.

The exhibit showcases 22 frames from notable collectors featuring Philippine stamps depicting Filipina women. The public can enjoy the exhibit for free from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm until May 30, 2019.

stamps, first day covers are available for sale at the Philatelic area. There will be a FREE postal heritage walking tour schedule on May 18, 2019 ( Saturday) from 8:50 am to 12:00 nn.
