It was a hot sunny day at the Julia Vargas Hall within Quezon Institute when a mass was celebrated at past 8:30 am.
Philippine Tuberculosis Society and Quezon Institute Anniversary
The thanksgiving mass was officiated by a priest from nearby Christ the King Seminary. This marks two important occasions, The 109th founding anniversary of the Philippine Tuberculosis Society (PTS) and 81st anniversary of Quezon Institute.
He shared the same sentiments and views on both institution being founded during the early part of the American regime.

The building is consider as a heritage landmarks done by a prominent Filipino architect Juan Nakpil.
CCP and Architectural Achives of the Philippines
The building is one of the few art deco style architecture within the city that dates back during the middle part of the commonwealth regime.
There was a short break after the mass, the author had the opportunity to take some photos and met some artists behind the TB seals issued by the institute for the past several years.
One of the highlight of the program was the service award of employees. There were employees who served 10 years, 15 years, 20 years, 25 years and 30 years. They were given recognition for their valuable service to the institution and to the Filipino people.

Aside from the award, They were also given cash incentives. A mix modern dance number and cultural dance were performed by the employees of the institute.
