15 Pasalubong Treats from Santa Fe, Nueva Viscaya’s OTOP

Santa Fe, Nueva Viscaya is a town rich in natural resources, handicrafts, plants and scenery.  The One Town One Product (OTOP) by Department of Trade and Industries ( DTI) opened in 2017 had a lot of products to offer as pasalubong or treats.

15.) Key chains and Cellphone holder – The most common souvenir item. They are affordable and easy to bring.

14.) Native orchids and ferns- For those who can grow orchids and native plant, Santa Fe had an orchidarium where one can buy some orchids.

13.) Wood carvings and nativity set- hand carved by the native and indigenous group which inhabit the province.

10.)  Artificial bonsai trees flowers- These are made by prisoners. Ideal as centerpiece and gift this Yuletide season. One also give hope to the prisoners who took long time to make these trees.

8. ) Peanut Jams, Strawberry Jams, Guava Jelly, Honey, Suka – One of the most common pasalubong sold at the center.

Lovelier the Second Time: Upcycling at Los Baños Horticultural Society

Los Baños Horticultural Society in partnership with University of the Philippines -Los Baños presents to the general public from October 4 to 13, 2019 the mid- year garden show presenting different exhibits showcasing upcycling.

Aside the the landscaping competition, exhibits, commercial booths, There will be local products for sale.

There is a minimal entrance fees of Php 30.00 for the general public and Php 20.00 for students, senior citizens and persons with disabilities. The exhibit site is the Senior Social Hall of the University of the Philippines -Los Baños.

One of the respected guests of honor included Dr. Salvador Bautista. He is a respected horticulturist and landscape architect. The exhibit and landscape area is open from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm.
