Stamp stamp artists were accorded honors at the 252nd postal service anniversary and National Stamp Collecting Month at Manila Central Post Office in Liwasang Bonifacio, Manila.

The program started around 3:00 pm with opening remark from Mr. Maximo Santa Maria III ( Business Development and OIC Marketing) and Chairman Norman N. Fulgencio ( Philippine Postal Corporation).

The art exhibition also included works of art which features local stamp artists and designers of Philippine stamps. Among the stamp designers and artists invited were Mr. Victorino Servo, Ms. Eunice Dabu, Mr.Rodine Teodoro, Mr. Jose Antonio A. Jayme among others.

The highlight of the event is an exhibit titled “The Art of History,” featuring the stamps designed by Philippine Postal Corporation (PHLPOST) artists, flora, fauna, sketches, stamps artwork in Philippine history.

Special guest of honor includes Former Chief Justice Lucas Bersamin (25th Chief Justice of the Philippines),Philippine Philatelic Federation members, Heritage advocate groups, PHLPOST officials, media and the general public.
A lot of activities are in line with the month-long stamp collecting month and anniversary of the postal service.
There will be a FREE Postal Heritage Guided Tour and Talks on November 16, 2019 Saturday from 8:50 am to 12:00 noon. Do not forget to come and participate.
