Ultimate Buffet Experience at Tramway Bayview, Pasay

Tramway Bayview, Pasay branch had one of the biggest sitting capacity buffet restaurant which had around 1,000 sitting capacity at any given time. This used to be the site of Dragon Gate restaurant.

We would always dine at  Tramway Timog branch and Tramway Banawe branch. The price of their lunch buffet is quite affordable.

The selection is quite varied with Filipino, Chinese, Japanese and international dishes.

It is good to arrive at least 20 to 30 minutes before the appointed time, parking is limited within Roxas boulevard. Pre-booking is advise for those having a large group.

There were at least a dozen main dishes and were divided into salad, main dishes, soup, steamed buns and desserts.

The deep fried siomai is okey but would prefer lumpiang shanghai. This dish is quite redundant.

Main Dishes: Steamed Pangasius Fish, Orange Pork, Chopseuy, Fried Spring Chicken, Fried Tofu, Pancit Canton, Beef Kaldereta, Deep Fried Siomai,, Sweet and Sour Pork, Spaghetti, Clam, Egg roll.

The downturn was the Spaghetti sauce, It is almost pale orange. Plus the pasta is soggy not aldente. They should have added more ground meat.

Salad and Rolls: Maki, Vegetable Salad, Tossed Lettuce, Carrots, Tomatoes, Cucumbers and Onions (with Salad Dressing: Thousand Island Sauce)

Desserts: Palitaw, Buchi, Cheese Cupcake, Coconut Macaroon,Mochi, Brownie, Macaroni Salad, Buko Pandan Jelly, Coffee Gelatin, Fruit Gelatin, Sliced Watermelon and Sliced Papaya.

Each table had 1 pitcher of ice tea which is an added cost for those planning to have customized buffet. Some customers opt to add a little more in order to add some more dishes.

The restaurant also had several private room, Dos Palmas is located at the second floor and can accommodate between 60 to 70 persons.

There were a lot of factors in rating this restaurant. Price wise, it is not bad for Php 289.00. They must try to improve on some of their dishes and desserts. Some are quite redundant.

Overall, I would give our lunch buffet experience a 7.30 out of 10 rating. The service crew is quite friendly and even gave a survey form after we finished eating. The survey form that we filled-up hopefully would be use by the management to improve their dishes and even service.

Buffet Rate: Php 289 Adult, Php 206.46 Senior Citizen with valid Id’s, Php 205 children height between 3 to 4 feet, Php 112 children height between 2 to 3 feet.
