Ohtako had a successful opening day past 3:00pm within Goodwill Homes 1, Barangay San Bartolome, Novaliches. This is just few minutes walk from Kingspoint Subdivision, San Pedro IX subdivision, Kasiyahan Village, Gran Monaco Villas in Barangay Bagbag.

Ohtako food stall opened their 3rd branch in Quezon City and the first one within Novaliches ( district 5). The growth of the tokayaki stall is quite phenomenal with at least 30 stalls since they just opened less than 5 months ago.

According to the franchise owner, the name “OH” means original and tako comes from the shorten word for takoyaki.

Their takoyaki is sold for just Php 10.00 per piece. Just happen to pass-by their stall and waited a couple of hours before they made their first batch of takoyaki, ordered some Php 200.00 worth of takoyaki.

Ohtako’s takoyaki is cooked well with generous toppings of cheese, bonito flakes, takoyaki sauce and mayonnaise. The only downturn is that they did not have spicy chilies to match takoyaki. According to the franchisee, they would include chilies for those with spicy taste. We can not wait for that.

They only allow take away, for those who wanted to order in bulk, Try to visit them at their stall.

Filipino Frontliners on Stamps Featured by PHLPOST

Filipino front line workers like nurses, doctors, army, police, postal workers were featured in the current stamps issuance. The stamps and first day covers were supposed to be release last April 2020 but since the Enhance Community Quarantine (ECQ) had taken effect last March 15 it was further moved to July 13, 2020 ( Monday).

PHLPost is also committed to fulfill its universal mandate of continuous delivery of important mails from various government and private sectors who are important clients of the agency.

The stamps, first day cover will be available in Manila Central Post Office and other major post office nationwide.

They will also launch the “Stamps on Wheels” program which enables roving van from PHLPOST to sell new stamps, first day covers and other collectibles to far flung areas of Metro Manila and other areas of the country.
