August month is known as ” Buwan ng Wika” Language Month with this year’s theme focuses on “Wika ng Kasaysayan, Kasaysayan ng Wika” Ang Katutubong Wika sa Maka-Filipinong Bayanihan Kontra Pandemya for 2020.
Komisyon ng Wikang Filipino is forefront in the research in the development of the language.
