KHAI MOA Signing Ceremony and Turnover of Fire Truck

Kingspoint Homeowners Association Incorporated ( KHAI) had a simple turn-over ceremony of fire truck to Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) in Quezon City. The turnover was held at the Kingspoint Park covered court at past 10:00am.

The short program started with KHAI board members, homeowners, Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) representatives,councilors and selected officials from Barangay Bagbag were on hand to witness the momentous occasion despite the cloudy weather and social distancing observed during the event. Opening statement came from SINSP Marvin H. Mari ( Station Commander -Station 5)

KHAI Turnover and Program

President Lamberto Q. Nolasco ( KHAI president 2019 to 2021) was present told the small crowd that it took several years from conceptualization, fund raising and mobilization of people and resources in order to purchase a fire truck which is needed within the subdivision and immediate neighborhood. In recent memory, There was a destructive fire which engulf a community near Katipunan Avenue last November 24, 2018 which destroyed over 50 homes and affected at least 100 families.

Important Personalities

There was also a short report on the covid 2019 response of Barangay Bagbag and in which Kingspoint subdivision is part of the barangay and Quezon City.

Other important personalities includes Hon. Jose Visaya, Mr. Ricardo B. Corpuz (City government department head III, Barangay and community relations department of Quezon City), Dir. Emmanuel D. Borromeo (CESO V City Director, DILG Quezon City) and SSupt. Joe Fernand L. Bangyod ( City Fire Marshall).

Other important personalities includes former councilor Mr. Enrico “Ric” Serrano ( founder and owner of Holy Child Academy, Novaliches) who is a long time resident of the place.

Mayor Maria Josefina “Joy” Belmonte- Alimurung was also invited during the turnover ceremony but was unable to attend affair.

Mr. Eduardo S. Mangulabnan and Mrs. Elva U. Aguirre serves as masters of ceremonies.
