Sibol Philippines Mobile Legends Won SEA GAMES 2019

Sibol Philippines ( Mobile Legends) Bang Bang team made a dramatic come back and won against Indonesia.  Team Indonesia were composed of members from winning members from Southeast Asia and World Champions.

The first round came in easy for the Philippines with the crowd inside the Filoil Flying V Centre went ballistic with the first win. It was a split push by Sibol’s fighter hero Chou 12 minutes into the game.

Indonesia recovered in the next 2 games; first, a dominant game 2 victory. A competitive game 3 where they came back from a poor 0-4 start on the kill tally.

The ML:BB team was lead by Mr. Kenneth Jiane “Kenji” Villa, Karl Gabriel “KarlTzy” Nepomuceno, Carlito “Ribo” Ribo, Jeniel “Haze” Bata-anon, Angelo Kyle “Pheww” Arcangel, Allan Sancio “Lusty” Castromayor, and Jason Rafael “Jay” Torculas.

It was the last game held on December 8.

Colorful 30th SEA Games Stamps issued by PHLPOST

Colorful and vibrant stamps and first day covers were issued by the Philippine Postal Corporation (PHLPost) released new set of special commemorative stamps, souvenir sheets and official first day cover of the 2019 SEA Games.

To honor our country’s athlete and the Philippine’s hosting of this year’s “30th Southeast Asian Games”,

With the games officially begun, there are fifty-six sports spread out over a total of five hundred thirty separate events, operating at venues in Clark, Subic, Metro Manila and other areas.

Local and foreign stamps enthusiast will have the chance to buy these colorful items featuring the SEA Games motto “We Win as One” and the four (designs) of sports discipline which includes weightlifting, badminton, cycling and billiards. Each stamp cost P12.

A special limited edition souvenir sheet of stamps covering different sports events and a stamp featuring the colorful “hands” clasped in solidarity for the South East Asian (SEA) Games.

Stamps will be available at the Post Shop, Manila Central Post Office starting Monday, Dec. 2.

Stamp Design and Philatelic Bulletin

The Special Souvenir Sheet has a special die-cut embellishment to shape the silhouette of a basketball player which highlights the popularity of the sports to the Filipinos. The Price for the Special Souvenir Sheet is P67 each.

The first Southeast Asian Games (SEA Games) started in 1959 and is held as a biennial event. This year there are eleven participating countries: Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Lao, Malaysia, Myanmar, Singapore, Thailand, Timor-Leste, Vietnam and the Philippines

Each stamp bears the logo of the Philippines 2019 30th SEA Games. The SEA Games will run from 30 November until 11 December 2019. PHLPost in-house graphic artist Rodine Teodoro designed the colorful SEA Games Stamps.

Stamps, souvenir sheets and official first day covers of “Philippines 2019 30th SEA Games” will be available at the Philatelic Counter, Manila Central Post Office, all Mega Manila Post Offices, Postal Area 2, San Fernando, La Union, Postal Area 4, San Pablo, Postal Area 5, Mandaue, Postal Area 6, Iloilo, Postal Area 7, Davao, and Postal Area 8, Cagayan de Oro.  Interested collectors may call Tel. 8527-01-08

11.) 11 countries with Southeast Asia will participating in the event. These includes Brunei Darussalam, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Timor Leste and Vietnam.

10.) Motto of the game is ” We Win As One”. Maestro Ryan Cayabyab composed the official theme song of the 2019 Southeast Asian Games.

6.) Mr. Daniel dela Cruz a Filipino metal sculptor who made the torch and medals. The torch’s design is inspired by the country’s national flower – sampaguita – which symbolizes purity, simplicity, humility and strength.

While cauldron to be lit by the torch was designed by National Artist for Architecture Francisco “Bobby” Mañosa.

The business uniforms are designed by internationally-acclaimed Filipino fashion designer Rajo Laurel.

Heading the all-Filipino lineup of performers are: acclaimed singers Lani Misalucha, Christian Bautista, Aicelle Santos, Jed Madela, Elmo Magalona, KZ Tandingan, Iñigo Pascual, The TNT Boys, Ana Fegi, and Robert Seña, and international rap artist Apl d Ap.

Ramon Obusan Folkloric Group, is also contributing their skills together with hundreds of students from at least 12 different schools and colleges in Metro Manila.

1.)  The opening ceremony will be held for the first time since 1959 inside an indoor stadium with state of the art laser show.  Philippine Arena which had a sitting capacity of 55,000 will be the site of the opening ceremony, while the newly built Clark Stadium will be the site of the closing ceremony.
