Food Cart Concept

Boy Kanin was created as a food cart concept which was made to cater to the needs of the hardworking Filipinos employees. Started in 2012, Boy Kanin is the brainchild of Mr.  Antonio Z. Atienza and Mr. Ronald Callao. They hope not just to feed hungry stomachs but also to remind us why we always return to our homegrown cuisine. Boy Kanin’s exhibition booth is located within second level of SMX Convention Center. It is small replica of their free-standing restaurant stall.

The company currently had 83 branches in different locations all over the country. They are targeting at least 160 branches by the year end.

The exhibit booth is one of the imposing structure at the exposition with hundreds of visitors and guests who enjoyed playing games and won exciting raffle prizes such as limited edition mugs, caps, tumblers and free meals!

Unknown to many, Boy Kanin’s had several social community projects tucked under their social corporate responsibility. one of which is the annual LBC Ronda Pilipinas 2019 bicycle race in which the company is one of the proud partner. Mr. Callo is bicycle enthusiast.

Another feat is that for every purchase of their ginger/ turmeric tea. A customer is already helping the indigenous aeta communities in Rizal province in which the company  directly purchase their produce.

The company also partnered with some farmer communities for sourcing their produce from banana leaves, seafood, vinegar, bagoong and rice.

Desserts

Another well-love desserts are suman with gracious toppings of latik (caramelized coconut cream) and thick sauce. This is best paired with kapeng barako of Batangas.

Mr. Dalmer Manuzon is from Bagong Silang, San Miguel, Bulacan . He is a freelance singer. The restaurant have a small stage area, where local artist within the town performs during weekend.

Directly translated from Korean, samgyeop-sal  which  means “three layer flesh,” referring to striations of lean meat and fat in the pork belly that appear as three layers when cut.

Boy Kanin Opens in Orani, Bataan

Boy Kanin opens their first full service restaurant in the heart of Orani, Bataan last September 28, 2018.

The event started with a motorcade within the town of Orani, Bataan past 1:00pm, with several cars, vans and tricycles paraded the main thoroughfare and streets of the town.

This was followed with a short blessing, ceremonial ribbon cutting, tossing of rice  and coins to the invited guests.

Big news to all Boy Kanin’s loyal clientele and customers. The restaurant chain is currently celebrating their 5th anniversary in 2018 with a big bang.

For those looking for new business, having a food related business during the year of the dog is quite auspicious . This year’s elements sign is ( Earth Dog) which favors travel, construction and food business. The best zodiac signs for business are people born under tiger, rabbit and horse.

The restaurant chain started out as a food stall around 2013 which initially serves paella rice meals along with other famous Filipino dishes. This was the brainchild of Mr. Antonio Z. Atienza and Mr. Ronald Allan Callao.

The tagline is “Sarap ng Kaning Pinoy ” which sums up all the delicious meal viands with rice.

 

The establishment was featured last year in ABS-CBN channel 2 “May Puhunan”  television program  which featured entrepreneurs, how did their business started and hoe they succeed in their business.
He started working when he was 10 years-old started to drive and helping his family business by driving from business from Bicol to Divisoria. His life story and struggles were also an inspiration for establishing a food business. Now the company would cooked at least 70 to 100 cavans of rice per day at their commissary alone.
