Ms. Ariella Arida is among the top favorites at the Miss Universe pageant

Ms. Ariella “Ara” Arida continued to live up to her frontrunner status  last night together with  Miss USA, Miss Venezuela, Miss Spain, Miss Curacao, Miss Puerto Rico, Miss Vietnam,  Miss Poland,  Miss Ukraine, Miss Russia , Miss Turkey , Miss Croatia , Miss Jamaica , Miss Brazil , Miss Australia , Miss Israel , Miss Dominican Republic,  Miss South Africa , Miss Indonesia , Miss Thailand and Miss Myanmar are some of this year’s top favorites.

Of the 86 candidates who had their pictures taken for the winter-themed photo shoot, called “Ice Princess” . She emerged as one of the favorites by social media groups and photographers in Russia.

Of her picture taken by photographer Fadil Berisha, reporter Riza Ornos wrote: “In this glamour shot, Arida transformed from her exotic sultry look into a high class fashion model. From her frizzy mane to her pout and down to her skin stone, Ara Arida is a force to be reckoned with as she can transform from different looks as long as she wishes.  She’s now major favorite for the crown and if she continues to wow the judges, she could be the next to wear the Nexus crown.”

The contestants had their preliminary interviews during the morning and national costume presentation at past 9:00PM.

Ms. Ariella ” Ara” Arida was also chosen to be a model at the Mercedez Benz car show and Tony Ward couture show.

The pageant’s preliminary competition for swimwear and evening gown is set for November 5. It will be streamed live on the Miss Universe official website from the Crocus City Hall in Moscow.

The coronation night will be held in the same venue on November 9, 2013.
