There will be game fowl auction, gamefowl shows, pigeon seminars , daily raffles and meet and greet nutrena Idols. There will be an entrance fees of Php 150 per head.

Mr. Jaime Lim is a pigeon and koi enthusiast. He had  launched a book about Pigeon Racing – It was being sold at Php 500  at a bargain for buy 1 take 1 promo during the expo.

Philippine Bantam Fancier Association

The organization was just recently organized last year with several dozens of members from Metro Manila, Calabarzon, Bulacan , Pampanga and nearby areas.

Among the prominent member is Atty. Hernando B. Perez of Batangas . He started raising a few bantam chicken a couple of years ago.  Now, He had several hundreds of bantam chicken and fancy breeds is his farm.

2015 International Gamefowl Festival and World Slasher Cup at the Smart Araneta Center

Green Gate Lobby , Araneta Coliseum , Cubao- Quezon City , Philippines The organizers of the 2015 International Game Fowl Festival and World Slasher Cup,  It is 2-in 1 event . These events will be held under one venue which is at  the SMART Araneta Coliseum in Cubao , Quezon City . It is one of the biggest anticipated event to be hosted in the country . In the Philippines, The game fowl industry is more than 50- Billion peso industry , This was according to the organizers of the exposition and industry experts. They are expecting several industry players like feed companies, suppliers , game fowl breeders and cockfighting enthusiasts to be present at the exposition.

The 2015 International Game Fowl Festival  original venue was at the SMX Convention Center but the organizers felt that it would be better to find more ideal location . During the 2014 World Cockfighting Festival held at the SMX Convention Center , The organizers received over 8,000 visitors at the exposition site. For the 2015 edition, They are expecting at least close to 10,000 or more attendees. The event will be held from  January 21 up to 23, 2015 World Slasher Cup 2015 is regarded as the “Olympics of Cockfighting”  and undoubtedly the most prestigious cockfighting event in the world ! They are expecting big time foreign cockfighting gurus and trainers to come to the big event . “The continuous holding of the World Slasher Cup is our commitment to the country’s gamefowl industry and the coming in of the International Gamefowl Festival  will complete the equation,” said Atty. Allan Gabor -Araneta Center’s officer in charge. The World Slasher Cup scheduled on January 24 until February 2, 2015,  promises to please all cockfighting enthusiasts especially now that it is being held at the Smart Araneta Coliseum, the big dome and home of the World Slasher Cup, where Philippine cocking history have been written for more than 50- years since the first slasher cup was held in 1962.

What is nice about the World Game Fowl Festival is that exotic and fancy chicken breeders will also have a chance to sell and exhibit their prize winning breeds during the exposition. Mr. Francis Jhames Ong  of Thunderbird said He is giving his all-out support to the double event which is also an advocacy and cause-oriented endeavor as part of the proceeds from the entrance fees  will be donated to the Philippine National Red Cross and a medical missions to be conducted  in Mindanao where mostly affected are displaced Muslim and Christian brothers by armed conflicts and disputes. In the 2014 edition of the World Game fowl Exposition and World Slasher Cup,  the  beneficiaries  were the super typhoon Yolanda survivors in Samar and Leyte where almost 28 medical missions are conducted in the  calamity stricken part of the Philippines according to Mr. Lando Luzong of Sabong Sports Group.
