Fun and Delightful Set Meals at Giligan’s Restaurant in SM North EDSA SkyDome

Giligan’s Restaurant name was inspired by a popular US television series in the 1960’s . Hence the themed place is known for their sea inspired or ship inspired interiors.

This is not my first time to visit this place. In fact – Whenever , we have foreign guests or friends coming – We would always treat them to any branch that is near .

Their menu has wide choices of authentic Filipino all-time favorite. The price is just right and servings are quite huge , very fulfilling.

seafood fried rice

For those planning to bring friends or family member, I suggest that you try to order set meals which cost 20% cheaper . There are set meals which is good for 4 , 5 , 6 people. Thus, you have a choices of availing their unlimited rice or ice tea. The ordinary white rice which was included in the set meal was upgraded into seafood fried rice. We just add Php 79.00 . I am not a big fan of their fried rice as compared with other Fil-Chinese dishes. The rice is a little bit soggy .

crispy pata

We liked the way the crispy pata was cooked . The dish also comes with soy sauce dip . Ideal for 3 to 5 people sharing – Php 473.00

lechon kawali ala Cebu

We also liked their Lechon Kawali ala Cebu – They are sold at 100 grams, 200 grams – Php 218 per 200 grams – Ideal for 3 to 4 people sharing .

pancit canton -guisado

We also ordered Pancit Canton -Guisado . Since we got a birthday celebrant. The only downturn is that it is a little bit salty . An order cost Php 140.00 . Our first option was the miki-bihon . This is a noodle dish which is mixed with 2 kinds of noodles. egg noodles (thicker and yellow) and rice noodles ( white and thin noodles) . Unfortunately , It was out of stock .
