Grow and Show Features Fern and Astrophytum from September 13 to 15

Grow and Show in partnership with Ninoy Aquino Parks and Wildlife Management Bureau presents to the general public “Fernteriffic” and “Astrofabulous” for the next trade fair and plant show for the month of September 2019.

It is just around the corner there are many reason why one should take time and visit.  Trade fair will be held from September 13 to 15, 2019

Activities and Talks

Tabletop Exhibit on “Astrophytum” will be on Sept 15th, Sunday.

Registration starts at 8:00 am to 12:00 nn
Registration fee is Php 50.00 per entry/plant

Lectures and Activities

“Fernteriffic September” by Fern Study Group Architect Wendy Fernando-Regalado will be on Saturday, Sept. 14th at 1:00PM.

“Astrofabulous September” by NCSOPI President Amy Lastimosa and Mr. Toti DM Administrator of Astrophytum Collectors Group Ph will be on Sept 15th, Sunday at 2:00 pm

Tilly Huddle and Plant Exchange headed by Ms. Doreen Dofitas will be on Sept. 14th ,Saturday at 11:00 am

Plant Bingo Bonanza headed by Secretariat Ms. Angela Marin will be on Sept 14th, Saturday at 2:00 pm

Anniversary of Grow and Show from July 13 to 21, 2019

Grow and Show will be celebrating the anniversary this coming July 13 to 21, 2019 a period of 9 day event. The show is in cooperation with Ninoy Aquino Parks and Biodiversity Wildlife Management Bureau and Department of Environment and Natural Resources ( DENR) in Quezon City.

There will be free lectures with raffle, There will be having a Plant Bingo Bonanza, bazaar with 50 plus concessionaires plus an international seller! a table top plant competition which is open to all who wants to participate.

Please note that there is a minimal entrance fee of Php 30 for the general public and Php 15 for students, senior citizens that goes to the Ninoy Aquino Parks and Wildlife.

Lecture Series

There will be lecture on July 20 – 10:00 am to 11:00 Mr. Lino Rom- Cactus and Succulent Growing in the Metro

11:00 am to 12:00 nn – Ms. Doreen Dofitas and Mr. Marco Llagas – Know the Dofitas hybrids and learn how to Groom and Stage them.

1:00 pm to 2:00 pm – Mr. Walley Suarez- Amorphophallus: The Beautiful Monstrosities of the Aroid World.

The Merry Marry Month of June at Grow and Show

Philippine Horticultural Society Inc. in partnership with Ninoy Aquino Parks and Wildlife Management Bureau , Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) will be having their three -day show from June 14 to 16, 2019 within the Ninoy Aquino Parks and Wildlife Management Bureau.

There will be about 40 to 50 stalls selling different varieties of ornamental plants, orchids, cacti and succulents, pots, fertilizers among other products.

There will also some resource speakers at the event.

Grow and Show Bazaar Features Gesneriad and Grafted Cactus Fiesta

Grow and Show Bazaar will be have a show at Ninoy Aquino Parks and Wildlife Management Bureau in Quezon City from April 26 to 28, 2019 from 8:00am to 5:00pm.

This is in partnership with Ninoy Aquino Parks and Wildlife Management Bureau , Department of Environment and Natural Resources

Grow and Show Special Feature of the Month

Special feature in this bazaar will be gesneriad and grafted cactus festival.  There will be grafting workshop and hands-on session for cacti by Mr.Charles Gabriel Soriano on April 27 ( saturday) from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm.

There will be a table display also for gesneriads and grafted cacti.
