12.) Meet and Greet Famous, Budding Comic Artists– One of the most visited comic book artist at the Toy Convention 2019 is the booth of Mr. Pol Medina creator of the famous Pugad Baboy series among others. There were also international comic illustrators, artists and self published comics.

11.) Krem Top booth – ideal partner for coffee and coffee shake. The company provided small cup with free sip of their instant coffee with kreme top for those visiting their booth.

7.) World Cosplay Summit’s Philippine leg finals was held. This contest brings together some of the best cosplayers in the country to compete for a chance to represent the Philippines in the World Cosplay Summit 2019 in Japan. One can have a fun time having their photos taken together with their favorite cosplayers.

5.) Celebrity Spotting– There were many local, international celebrities spotted at the convention. One can also have their photo opportunities and autograph taken for special ticket holders.

Ms. Fanny Kao is from Taiwan ( Republic of China) and make beautifully crafted toy figurines. She also created a limited edition Lonely Linus. This is her first time to participate at the toy convention in the Philippines. She also had a collaboration with Mr. Daniel Yu.

Mr. Daniel Yu is an artist, sculptor, toy creator. He has been creating his toys inspired from Chinese mythical creatures, ghost, lunar cleric and lunar creeps for the past 6 years. This is his first time attending the toy convention in the country.

3.) Toy Exhibits – There are more than 80 toy groups and thousands of toys on display at the 2nd floor of SMX Convention Center.

2.) Happy Garaje – The booth had an interesting postcards, book marks and toy maker from Cebu . The husband and wife tandem is known for their wonderful works of art and nice toy figurine. The postcards were sold for just Php 50.00

1.) Philippine Garrison – The group had partnered with Make a Wish foundation and they have a photo booth where one can donate money for the causes of the foundation.

A Gift to the World: Bromeliad, Cactus and Succulent Show

The Philippines is known for its Flora Biodiversity, in the world or Horticulture the Philippines is very well known for its Horticulture contributions, biggest example would be Vanda sanderiana and Phalaenopsis aphrodite. The show will be from June 20 to 23, 2019 at Artium Area, SM Mall of Asia, Pasay City.

These endemic Philippine Orchids have been the primary parents for most of the best and well known Foreign Hybrids across the globe. Seeing this worldwide fame of our endemic species as A Gift to the World. It is about time that Philippine Growers and Hybridizers show to the world. For those coming to the show, there is no entrance fees and there will be daily lectures, games and plant auction.

10.) Pidoks – The booth had friendly marketing people. They have a tagline ” The Food You Love! ” Pidoks started out as a small turo-turo which specializes on Kapampangan dishes during the late 1980’s.  One of the signature dishes back then was bulalo. They used to serve 35 dishes a day from huge cauldrons where customers can open the lid, smell, and look at the available viands.

1.) Boy Kanin – Boy Kanin had an imposing booth at the Franchise Asia Philippines 2019 exposition site. The booth is a mini version of their free standing food stall in Bicol region with a second floor and well lighted signage.

Boy Kanin’s exhibition booth is located within second level of SMX Convention Center. It is small replica of their free-standing restaurant stall.

Higher Education Expo from October 21 to 23, 2016 at SMX Convention Center

The First  Annual Exhibition for Universities, Colleges, Senior High Schools, Graduate & Vocational Schools, Creative Arts Institutes and other organizations for Tertiary Level Education Entrance to EXHED2016 is Free of Charge.

The event is organized by World Expos and Concepts Inc. (Worldexco), this exhibition will showcase dozens of universities, colleges and academic institutions, alongside sponsors and partners. ExHEd will also include a series of presentations, career talks and other activities to aid students as they make a choice for their future.

“We want to make it easier for students and their parents to collect information about different institutions for higher learning without them having to visit each and every campus which can be time-consuming and expensive” says Raquel Romero, President and General Manager of World Expos and Concepts. “This expo will serve as a gateway for them to gain more knowledge on the various opportunities that are available to students as the Philippines goes through the K to12 program,” she added.

ExHEd will also provide a venue for students to explore options for studying abroad. Representatives from academic institutions from countries such as Australia, Spain and Hungary will be present to share with the students and their parents the ins and outs of applying to universities overseas.
