Delectable and mouthwatering grill dishes , burgers , kebab and ribs are just a few sample of menus that can can try when they visit Montare Food and Venue Place . The venue is classy and not your ordinary food hubs or food parks . The outdoor garden area is neatly manicured in lawn grass with dozens of date palms , ornamental flowering plants and can accommodate between 150 to 200 people at any given time. One of the MUST TRY food stalls located within the place is the Heat Stroke Grill stall . Their menu is perfect as finger food and best accompanied with cold beer .

Baby Back Ribs ( Php 160 ) per order , Chicken Kebab ( Php 160 ) and Grilled Pork Binagoongan  ( Php 160)

This is one of the signature dishes offered in sizzling plate with egg and chopped spring onion leaves . ( Php 150 ) ala carte and (Php 300 )platter

Pork Belly Inasal with Jaun Rice and Chimichurri sauce – This is another dish which is a fusion of Filipino and Latin American . Chimichurri sauce made from finely chopped parsley , minced garlic , olive oil , oregano , red pepper flakes , white or red wine vinegar . It depends on what country in Latin America as the sauce can have slightly different variation .

The pork belly is cooked just right with the right chimichurri sauce and pickled cucumber and radish  as side dish. This is ideal between  1 to 2 person sharing .

Heat Stroke Chicken in Asian Style – The marinated chicken is tender with a savory taste , This is a complete meal with egg , pickled cucumber and radish .

Rice Options– Jaun Rice is a type of yellowish rice with fried garlic , Spiced Melano Rice is sweet and a little bit spicy , Albino or Plain rice.

Sauce Options : Chimichurri green sauce , This is a Latin American sauce . Harissa -Grilled pepper ,garlic , spices and cumin . Teriyaki – A Japanese which gives an Asian flavor.

There is also Heat Stroke Grill sweet sauce and sinamak ( local vinegar with spices )

Pork Binagoongan with Rice is another MUST TRY dish at Heat Stroke Grill – The pork is well marinated  with bagoong ( shrimp paste mixture is just right ) a few chopped tomatoes, finger chilies and chopped onions add more colors and spice. Not your typical salty Binagoongan dish.

Baby Back Ribs or Pork Ribs with Rice and Sauce is another MUST TRY dish . The meat is tender and the sauce is amazing . This can be shared between 2 persons .

Revisiting Montare Food and Events Place

Montare Food and Events Place had a lot of interesting menus and the event place had a lot of customers not only in Marikina but also at nearby places. A lot of them are repeat customers,Who wanted to have their moments at the place.

Montare

It had been 5 months , Since we last visited this event and food place . It had greatly improved and new menus were introduced . Montare started to get notice last year by foodies , yuppies , online sites and had a very photogenic place. The food prices are not that expensive and are of quality ingredients .

All the stalls got a new designs and was refurbished  by BYGG Manila . Some of the materials came from recycled materials. The place had a good garden space with a lot of mature date palms and nice flowering shrubs .

The lower floors can cater to family functions such as weddings, corporate events , product launching ( 80 to 150 pax) . The second floor room can accommodate between 25 to 35 people . One can tailor fit and customized the food depending on the occasion.

Nachos – with a lot of cheese toppings, This is ideal for sharing between 3 to 5 . What is nice about the food at Monatare is that one can customized the menu according to one’s taste and preference. Let us say one like more spice

The clam chowder is creamy with the right amount of ingredients , the bread is also good. MUST TRY

clam chowder , seafood delight , steak with gravy and grilled romaine lettuce 

Fried Spring chicken – This is deep fried with side condiments like banana ketchup and a choice of calamansi , chilies or soy sauce. MUST TRY

Hamburger with deep fried potato chips

What is nice about the hamburger and chip is that customers can customized the add-on for extra chips and others. The chip is crispy and not salty. MUST TRY

Singapore style fish balls, kani strip and fish bread

There are a lot of food choices from grilled ribs, clam chowder , Mexican inspired , Asian fusion , Filipino , pasta and dessert selection.

Montare : Food and Event Hub in the Heart of Marikina City

Montare Events and Food Hub is one of the newest event and food hub near the famed Lilac street within Marikina’s Food strip street .  What makes this place unique from other food hub is that the place had a large manicured garden and an air-conditioned rooms which can also double as venue place. Montare food hub just opened its business during the first quarter of this  year, thru word of mouth and repeat customers. The place is now slowly enjoying the prestige and people coming back .

 

The garden area can host between 150 to 200 people at any given day , while the indoor rooms and function rooms can host between 150 to 200 people .

The venue place used to be owned by a well-known artist before the current proprietors renovate and restore the place .  There are 8 different food concessionaire serving different kinds of menus ranging from appetizer meals , grilled foods, pasta, burger , dimsums, fried chicken , nachos , steak , shrimps , beverages and milk shakes .
