3^RD PINOY HERBAL FESTIVAL celebrates THE POWER OF NATURAL HEALING

Much debate continues about the effectiveness of herbs as medicine. Some doctors argue that while its remedies can be useful in treating some ailments, they are very limited, particularly when it comes to treating more serious diseases.

Do we encourage the development and wider use of herbal medicines? And homeopathic remedies, as well as acupuncture, yoga, fasting, raw vegetable juices, massage, peace of mind, meditation, exercise and other natural therapies? FACT: HERBS ALONE DO NOT RESTORE AND MAINTAIN HEALTH, no matter how wisely used. This is because the body is a complicated machine which relies on other things as well to keep it going.

 

Do we as Filipino citizens continue to institutionalize this form of health care and capitalize on the abundant supply of indigenous plants with medicinal properties in our country? When, what and how do we use herbs? Do we believe in the medicinal values of herbs?

 

If yes, then join us as we celebrate the Power of Natural Healing on the 3^rd Pinoy Herbal Festival, November 19 to 21, 2010 at the AANI Herbal Garden and Livelihood Center, Quezon Memorial Center, Quezon City.

 

Agri Aqua Network International Inc. (AANI) will organize the festival in cooperation with supporters and partners who believe in the power of natural healing which includes herbs and our indigenous plants. (Culinary herbs will also be highlighted).
