Plant Expo Bazaar at SM Mall of Asia

Plant lovers, enthusiasts, plantitos, plantitas, platiquarians, halamanmoms among others will be happy that there will be month long plant bazaar at Sm Mall of Asia in Pasay.

PLANT EXPO Bazaar 2020

There will be different booths which sells ornamental plants, cacti and succulents, indoor plants, soil, pebbles, potteries, tools, fertilizer, seeds among others. The plant expo bazaar starts from September 18 to October 17, 2020.

Visitors must have quarantine pass and must follow guidelines set by IATF and by SM Mall of Asia in Pasay health and safety protocols.

Winners at the Cactus, Succulent and Bromeliad Show at SM MOA

Big Winners of cactus, succulent and bromeliad show were announced few days after the grand festival. The event was organized by Philippine Nurserymen Association and BG event management in partnership with SM Mall of Asia and SM Supermalls with media partner Manila Bulletin and Agriculture magazine.

There were more than 50 stalls selling different kinds of cacti, succulents, orchids, plastic pots, fertilizers, ornamental plants, bromeliads among others.

Cactus, Succulent and Bromeliad festival was successful that at least 50,000 went there during the event.

Big crowd had visited the opening of the bromeliad , cactus and succulent show at the SM Mall of Asia, Atrium,Pasay City.

The show began with ceremonial ribbon cutting with 60 booths selling different kinds of plant from ordinary cacti, bromeliads, tillandsia, gardening supplies, fertilizers, pots, orchids, carnivorous plants among others.

There were also daily talks, seminar and on the spot raffle for those attending the event.

One Million Plant

One of the highlight of the show, is the rare variegated form of Sanseviera rorida variety “Boy Ganigan” Regale. It is roughly around $19,440.86 conversion rate.

The show is in partnership with Manila Bulletin , Agriculture magazine and Arids and Aroid Events Management. For those who wanted to come, There is no entrance fees and the show will until June 23, 2019 Sunday.

Nissan Philippines Top 6 GT Academy Advances to the World Finals : Race to Silverstone , United Kingdom

Nissan GT Academy Philippines  since its March 25, 2015 launching,  The competition had garnered over 15,000 virtual racers from Metro Manila, Bacolod , Cebu, Davao  and Cagayan de Oro .

Top Six Winners – Mr. Raphael Miru Lesaguis , Mr. Luis Cachero , Mr. Terrence Aldrich Lallave,Mr. Jose Gerald Policarpio,  Mr. Daryl Brady and Mr. Joel Agojo together with Mr.  Jof Cox ( Driving Specialist and GT Academy Specialist ) , Ms. Nicki Hewson ( events manager ) Mr. Marlon Stockinger ( Filipino-Swiss -Louts F1 Junior Team race car driver and mentor) Mr. Antonio Zara ( NPI President and Managing Director) and Mr. SJ Huh ( Nissan Philippines NPI  . General Manager for Marketing ) 

The participants out-race each other in over 30,000 trials held over the course of over twenty live events during the three-month run. Out of  that field emerged the country’s first TOP 20 contestants who battled it out in the National Finals on July 14 to 15 at the Cultural Center of the Philippines parking lot and at the SM Mall of Asia Atrium.

The other 14 finalists includes Mr. Francisco Adriano, Mr. Paolo Vittorio Alcance,Mr. Rabbboni John Buenaventura,Mr. Kim Roger Chong,Mr. Juan Carlos Eejay de Borja , Mr. Ramoncito de Luna, Mr. Rodolfo Faustino,Mr. Rio Halili,Mr. Richard Dean Jose, Mr. Jan Millard Lacuna,Mr. Luis Antonio Moreno, Mr. Cameron Jordan Padillo , Mr. Mark Angelo Villamor and Mr. Micheal Vincent Yap.

We also had some opportunity to meet some of the lucky finalists for some photo opportunities. One of the finalists and eventually one of the top 6 winners is Mr. Daryl Brady , a graduate of STI – Parañaque and currently working as a freelance I.T. race driver development . He also told us not just the actual driving challenges using real cars but also he had to go through series of physical , mental and personality challenges .  He is accompanied by his mom and a sister. He saw an advertisement from a top motoring facebook site which promoted the event and eventually signing-in for the try outs.

The six Philippine national winners will vie and compete along with other winners of Thailand, India, Indonesia , Japan .- Aside from the bragging rights and awards. They will have series of trainings for the next 2 months and mentorship and coach from Mr. Marlon Stockinger and the rest of the team.

ABS-CBN channel 2  will cover  the international event which will be held at the iconic  Silverstone Race Circuit in United Kingdom this coming August 2015. According to Mr. Marlon Stockinger , He lived near the racing circuit while training before.
