Madness overboard and sumptuous dishes at The Pig Pen . This is casual all-day dining place in Nuvali,within Solenad 3 at Nuvali Santa Rosa, Laguna province. This is  another brainchild of Chef Carlos Garcia and his partners Ms. Tricia  Villacorta -MacDonald and Ms. Berna Garriz of Black Pig in Alabang, Muntinlupa City.

There are several dishes and good appetizer meal which this restaurant serves to their customers.

Their menu reflect strong Filipino , Asian , American and European fusion , One should not miss the opportunity to dine-in when you visit Santa Rosa.

The sitting capacity is inside is between 60 to 75 people at any given date . However, it is advisable to pre-book the restaurant if one is planning to invite some friends or relatives especially during weekends. Outdoor area can accommodate between 15 to 20 people.

Grilled tamarind chicken had a savory taste with well balance sweet , sour, smoky with little spice .  The meat is tender .

For barkadas and group there is also Group of 4 meals price range is from SET -A Php 1,100 Asian Salad, Pork Belly Kimchi , Pulled Pork Cannelloni , Crispy Pork Hoisin.  SET-B Php 1,100- European Salad , Pork Belly Kimchi , Spaghetti Bolognese, Roasted Garlic Chicken Sausage platter. Cafe Arabelle : Italian and Intercontinental Dishes at the Heart of Solenad

Cafe Arabelle opened its doors to the public in 2015 , Most of the menus are Italian inspired , Intercontinental and Filipinos dishes . The interior is very rustic with live green plants , machuca tiles , wooden tables and chairs in natural colors adds beauty to its rustic old world charm.

Café Arabelle was named after the daughter of the owners. The proprietor and manager was there to give us a brief on the restaurant’s concept and food.

The menu board offers American, Italian -inspired , Intercontinental dishes and give them their own twist to make it suitable for the Filipino taste. They were also one of the first restaurant at Solenad to offer buffet promos.  Sitting capacity inside was between 50 to 60 persons with additional 20 more outside .

Grilled Pancetta is simply cured grilled bacon and wrapped in asparagus ( Italian version ). The focus is really on how this happens. This can be done simply with salt, but spices and other seasonings were added to infuse the pancetta with particular flavors. Vegetables such as asparagus , carrots add colors and additional flavor to the dish

Buffalo pizza is thin crust with the usual toppings of chopped onions, beefs , sliced red and green bell pepper , ham and cheese. Perfect with tomato ketchup or hot sauce. MUST TRY

Arabelle’s Barbecue Marinated Ribs were nicely marinated and the meat is tender. There is also side dish of vegetables of beans, corn kernel bits , sliced carrots and finely chopped parsley and seasonings.  The sauce was tangy and sweet . MUST TRY

Creamy Mushroom Pasta had a creamy sauce which is like carbonara . This comes with egg , bacon, mushroom and cheese as toppings.

Arabelle’s special salad with mango dressing

 We would recommend for sharing are the Buffalo Pizza ,Marinated Ribs, Arabelle’s Special  which had a mango dressing that taste similar to a popular ice cream brand in the market .

The restaurant also had a nice selections of Frappes, Juices ,Shakes, Ice Blend and Desserts.

During weekends, they offer buffet brunches at Php499 per head.

Crazy for battered fried chicken or fries ? There is a nice restaurant at the heart of Solenad Mall within Nuvali in Santa Rosa, Laguna province .

Beginnings

Wingstop  was born out of the big city of Garland in Texas , United States of America back in 1994, it found its roots as a small restaurant that packed huge flavor in the form of their succulent chicken wings. But it was clear that it just would not stop there.

The company had bigger things in mind and rapid expansion was the name of the game as Wingstop opened its doors to franchising in 1997. Many others followed suit and through the collective efforts of our Wing Experts, Wingstop soon sold its 1 billionth wing in the year 2002.

Mr. Ian Darcy is one of the budding entrepreneur which started with his perfume collection selling at a popular online site about a year ago . Now , his perfume line had 3 stalls which are located at U.P. Town Center , Phase 2 Katipunan . Eastwood Mall ( G/F #Local Collective Shop ) and at Victory Mall , Monumento (2nd/floor Mezzanine ), Caloocan City .

They have over 2 dozen perfume fragrance and prices start at Php 250 for 60ml and Php 350 for 100ml . The brand is oil base and not the usual alcohol base , which makes the scent last longer.

Their product does not need any hard selling , since one can easily smell the difference between their line and some popular brands in the market .
