Summer or Dry season is still lingering in many parts of Metro Manila. If you are craving for milk teas, morning breakfast meal, light snacks there is a food corner at the heart of the Goodwill Homes 1 community.

One can choose from over two dozen flavored milk teas and takoyakis which these stall are offering.

Juz Tea and Octobites are just two of the three known stalls within the center, there is Foodnatics which offers Korean rice dishes.

Juz Tea, Octobites and Foodicted had a soft opening last February 23, 2021. The stall used to be the famed Carlito’s Grill and Kitchen in Goodwill Homes 1, Barangay San Bartolome, Novaliches, Quezon City

They also deliver within a limited area within the community. For the past few weeks, they had in-house promo for just Php 120 for two milk tea.

OTeaHamaru Stall Opens at Kingspoint Subdivision

OTeaHamaru milktea and takoyaki stall within Kingspoint subdivision had their soft opening late November 2020.

OTeaHamaru started with their milk teas and started their operation way back in 2014. They have stalls in Robinson’s-Novaliches, Lagro and Quezon City.

The stall used to be a laundry shop then plastic home ware seller before it was rented out by the current occupant.

Robinson’s- Novaliches stall had since closed their door and move to Kingspoint Subdivision, Barangay Bagbag in which the proprietor resides.

When we visited their stall, OTeaHamaru had their buy 1 take 1 promo of their Taro milk tea for just Php 70.00. We requested the stall attendant to just use 10% syrup to avoid the overly sweet taste of the taro milk tea. Unfortunately, this does not come with tapioca ball or sago toppings.

They also have takoyaki sold for Php 50 -6 pieces, Php 200 -24 pieces within following weeks to come they are planning to offer okonomiyaki and other specialties.

When we visited the stall, some of the menu listed are not available and according to the sales staff, It will take weeks before they can offer the entire menu set.

El Pueblo One condominium

The proprietor decided to open a stall along King Christian corner King Ferdinand street near the famed El Pueblo One condominium, within Kingspoint subdivision and just within 1 kilometer away from San Pedro IX, Kasiyahan Village, Gran Monaco Villas located in Barangay Bagbag.

It is about 2 to 6 kilometers away from Goodwill Homes 1,California Village and Sierra Vista within Barangay San Bartolome, Novaliches, Quezon City.

Good News to all takoyaki fans and foodies !

Ohtako had a successful opening day past 3:00pm within Goodwill Homes 1, Barangay San Bartolome, Novaliches. This is just few minutes walk from Kingspoint Subdivision, San Pedro IX subdivision, Kasiyahan Village, Gran Monaco Villas in Barangay Bagbag.

Ohtako food stall opened their 3rd branch in Quezon City and the first one within Novaliches ( district 5). The growth of the tokayaki stall is quite phenomenal with at least 30 stalls since they just opened less than 5 months ago.

According to the franchise owner, the name “OH” means original and tako comes from the shorten word for takoyaki.

Their takoyaki is sold for just Php 10.00 per piece. Just happen to pass-by their stall and waited a couple of hours before they made their first batch of takoyaki, ordered some Php 200.00 worth of takoyaki.

Ohtako’s takoyaki is cooked well with generous toppings of cheese, bonito flakes, takoyaki sauce and mayonnaise. The only downturn is that they did not have spicy chilies to match takoyaki. According to the franchisee, they would include chilies for those with spicy taste. We can not wait for that.

They only allow take away, for those who wanted to order in bulk, Try to visit them at their stall.

EATS@ SM Fairview: Great Food Festival

SM Lagro – Regalado Avenue, Fairview,  Quezon City-Philippines

Foodies around Fairview, Lagro, Novaliches  in Quezon City , Deparo , Bagong Silang, Camarin , Novaliches in  Caloocan City  and northern parts of Metro Manila will be happy to know that such one-of-a-kind night food bazaar is coming their way. There are about 60 food stalls selling ordinary delicacies , homemade pastries , well-known caterers and fusion foods.

Concoctions is a restaurant which fusion of Filipino sisig style of cooking  , with omelet  and wrapped around dish with vegetables .

One of their best sellers are the pork sisig egg wrapped and tapa sisig egg wrapped .  According to one of the proprietors of Concoctions – They were constantly being featured in several magazines, newspapers and even blog sites .  They are also open to catering.

Med Chef Brownies – I must say that these brownies are one of the best home-made ones in Metro Manila. The are not  the ordinary ones and are moderately priced.

We will often see ed Chef’s to Il Mercanti’s or most commonly known as Banchetto and in Bonifacio Global City . Med Chef usually serve cakes and pastries that you will surely like and enjoy.

DOMZ FOOD HOUSE (The Original Bagnet Patong and WoW Lugaw)

DOMZ Food House is a regular seller in several food bazaars in Metro Manila like the Banchetto forum- Pioneer street corner EDSA every W-T-F  8:30pm to 6am , Mezza Norte in Trinoma corner Mindanao Avenue F-S-S 4:00pm to 3:00am and Banchetto SM Cubao – 4:00pm to 3:00am .

The specialized in Ilocos bagnet ( deep fried pork ) with rice toppings and rice porridge. There is a special food show and a quick stir fry with matching flame  and the proprietor will say ” YUM, YUM, YUM ” .

The event will be held every Thursdays,  Fridays , Saturdays  from 7:00PM until past 2:00AM where it will also cater passers-by, call center employees from nearby establishments and home buddies from nearby subdivisions and townhouses.

The festival will run until October 2014.and will run until October 23-25 at the Transport Terminal of SM Fairview, Quezon City.
