JUMP Center, SM Megamall , Mandaluyong City- Philippines

JUMP Center -venue of the seminar

When internet was introduced in 1994. we  did not have an idea that the Internet would pave the way for the growth of the business process outsourcing (BPO) industry and entrepreneurs who make money just by connecting to the Internet.

Philippine Internet, he said, started with a meager 64 kbps shared by educational institutions.

The Internet has equalized access to the world for rich and poor. Of course, it was only a footpath – an incredibly small 64 kbps (kilo bytes per second) which cost US$11,00 per month. We can now access the Internet at 100 mbps (mega bytes per second) for a few dollars.
