Delightful side dishes, salads, rice meals and ramen are some of the well-known specialties of Ukokkei Japan by Menzo which is located at 3rd floor main building at SM North Edsa, Quezon City

The restaurant can accommodate 40 to 45 customers at any given time. The industrial vibe is sure a great way to experience dining at this place. Customers from northern Metro Manila do not need to travel to SM Megamall or in other places just to enjoy these specialties.

Kani Salad– This is ONE of the MUST Try when you visit this restaurant. The vegetables are thinly slice with kani strips with topping of fresh mangoes and the dressing. The combination of sweet, salty is perfect. One can also add some spice by adding few toragashi.

There are several rice topping meals to choose from, Beef Yakiniku Don, Tori Karaage Cha -Han, Pork Katsu Don and Teriyaki Chashu Don

Pork Tonkatsu had a crispy breading and the meat is still tender. It goes well with the sauce.

Teba Karaage

Teba Karaage is fried chicken wings with tinge of sweet marination topping with sesame seeds and slice onion leeks leaves.

Tori Karaage is a deep fried chicken with crispy batter texture on the outside, juicy and tender on the inside.

California rolls

California rolls– This is one of my favorite in this place, It had a perfect combination of sweet, savory taste. Dash of mayonnaise added more flavor to this side dish.

gyoza

Gyoza is Japanese pan-fried dumplings more subtle in flavor. another MUST try when you visit this place. Best partnered with light soy sauce and chili oil.
