It was past 1:00pm when we finished our tour at the San Sebastian Basilica , We decided to eat at the newly opened Grotto Pares shop at the Iturralde Mansion .

This is a newly opened pares and small eatery in San Sebastian street . We decided to try out this eatery and looked at the menu.

There are 2 types of ice tea ( red and ordinary ) which sells for just Php 12 .00! We ordered red ice tea that the servers served in a mason jar with plastic drinking straw.
Shangsilog Meal
The group decided to order different value set meals that the eatery serves at the menu. I ordered Shangsilog – Lumpiang Shanghai (spring roll ) , Fried Egg and Fried Rice – Php 35 with FREE beef stock soup . ( soup is made from real beef stock with 5 spice herbs) .

Some of us ordered halo-halo and when the tour participants saw the size of the serving , They all ordered the halo- halo. There are 2 serving the small one in plastic which cost Php 20 and Php 30 in glass mason jars.

I paid Php 77 for the value meal , plus Halo-halo and Red ice tea . The others ordered Php 50 value meal (chicken or liempo) , Halo-halo and red ice tea .
The eatery is open everyday from 7:00am until past 11:00pm , They are also open for catering and reservations . Their store is just located beside San Sebastian Basilica .
